Introduction:

The following explains on how you change the setup for a Garmin 60 or 76 series GPS from car to bicycle and from bicycle to car. This is basically the only setting which has to be changed frequently.

Change setting from car to bicycle:

<MENU> <MENU> to get the 'Main Menu' page
Select 'Setup' and <ENTER>

Select 'Routing' and <ENTER>

<ROCKER UP> to select 'Follow Road Options' and <ENTER>

Select 'Off Route Recalculation'
<ENTER>

Select 'Prompted'
<ENTER>

Select 'Calculate Routes for'
<ENTER>
<ROCKER UP> to select 'Bicycle'
<ENTER>
This completes the change of settings. Hit <PAGE> to return to your previous page.

Change setting from bicycle to car:

Select 'Setup' and <ENTER>

Select 'Routing' and <ENTER>
